Mazurak Kindergarten

  - we play listening games with heggerty to learn to read and write - we do literacy centers daily - we have writing tasks where we use sentence starters or write our own sentences with picture prompts   - we have math centers focusing on different skills - we are doing math tasks in measurement and 3D shapes - we have a 100s chart to prepare for grade 1 - We do daily mindfulness activities - We have a class promise we worked on together so we can be our best and learn our best - We do movement every day in different ways - We went on a nature walk and explored with our senses - We will continue to investigate and observe the changes outside - We learn about our community in different ways

We have learned all the letters of the alphabet We were measuring with non-standard units  We investigated what moves and what does not move  We wrote in our journal about we wish it were spring  We have Drumfit in gym  We have been doing number talks and using our observation skills with problem solving  We are learning about Canadian Animals and how they are on our coins  We continue to take ownership of our journal and glue and choose our next page to work on
