Happy April!

We learned about the letter Xx and Yy - one more letter to learn! Do you know which one it is?

We continued our exploration with 3D shapes - can you find some in the real world?

We are learning about long and short vowels and hearing and writing them especially in the middle of words  

We got new literacy center rotations where we can work more on targeted skills

-read with the teacher

-read to self

-word work games

-reading and writing words

-practice printing

-listen to reading

We are practicing more mindfulness moments to help us be calm and ready to learn

We are learning about spring and taking our learning outside whenever we can - please dress for the weather
