Kindergarten Teddy Bear Week - Next week May 25-May 28

A notice went home about Teddy Bear week - Students are invited to bring a stuffed animal to school to stay for four days (Mon-Thur)

We will be using the stuffed animals in our learning activities and end the week by taking our stuffed animals and snacks outside for a "Teddy Bear Picnic"

The note says stuffed animals will stay at school, but if you would like to keep it in your backpack and bring it back and forth that works too :-) 

This week we have been learning -

We have been working in math centers and showing our learning with 3D shapes and measurement 

We have been drawing detailed pictures to write about with as many sentences as we can 

We have been doing yoga to help with mindfulness and calm

We have been working in partners and small groups for tasks 

We have been learning about the seasons - spring and summer

We celebrated cultural day and learned about some things about our different cultures

We learned what does Canadian mean

We have been working with friends of ten - ask your child what that means
